Champagne Bakery

I'd like to introduce Champagne Bakery in Hiratsuka. Champagne Bakery is a bakery operated by Takaku Bakery Co., which is famous as a supplier of school lunch bread in Hiratsuka. At this shop, you can drink coffee and tea for free if you buy bread. There are terrace seats outside so you can eat the bread you bought there.

I bought Gensai curry bread, uncured ham cascroute and basil tomato bread.  Gensai curry bread is a specialty curry bread of Hiratsuka. This bread is popular enough to sell 1,500 pieces a day, and it has been introduced on television. This bread is kneaded with rice in the dough, so it is a very soft texture. Curry and Fukujinzuke (sliced vegetables pickled in soy sauce ) are in the bread. It is tasty as it seems like eating curry and rice.

 Uncured ham cascroute is sandwiched with uncured ham, lettuce and cheese on a baguette. It is a simple bread, but the combination of the ingredients is tasty. 


Basil tomato bread has fresh tomatoes and basil on cheese covered bread. It is juicy and delicious, as the tomatoes are put on after baking the bread.
